PATAGONIA: Patagonia may have begun as a small company specializing in climbing equipment and tools in the early 1970's, but it has grown into an outdoor clothing specialty company. Patagonia not only produces clothing specifically designed for climbing and the climber's required needs, but they also make clothing specially designed for skiing, snowboarding, surfing, fly fishing, paddling and hiking/trail running.

Patagonia's most popular styles are designed to keep you warm during the cold winter months. And because their apparel isn't bulky, you can layer up for maximum warmth. The Patagonia Quarter Zip Fleece is a great pullover to wear under the Patagonia Better Sweater Vest for example.

Patagonia jackets for women are available in a wide range of styles and lengths. The Patagonia Fiona Parka is quite long while the shorter length of the Patagonia Down Sweater allows for greater mobility. Both can be layered with Patagonia women's pullover fleece styles.
