Holiday Outfits |Glik’s Style|

The holidays are upon us and you know what that means!  Christmas parties, dinners out with friends and New Years Eve, of course.  So many reasons to dress up and buy a new outfit.  I personally love a great LBD.  They are easy to style and black is a color that looks great on everyone.

Here are some of my favorite holiday outfits:

BB Dakota Elise Ombré Dress.  This dress is perfect for a holiday get together or a night out on the town. Since this dress is basically an accessory in itself , choose simpler accessories like a great pair of stud earrings and a stack of bangle bracelets.  No necklace is needed!

BB Dakota Sabrina Sequin and Lace Dress.  This is a gorgeous LBD that will be sure to turn some heads wherever you go! Throw your hair in a messy bun, put on your favorite black heels, an arm full of bracelets and you are ready for a night out on the town!

Elan Dress with Lace Inset Sleeves.  This one is my favorite.  The color combined with  feminine lace details is stunning!  It is flowy just enough so it’s figure flattering and comfortable.  You will need to wear a slip with this dress since it is sheer.  Add black tights or leggings, a smokey eye (try the Naked Smokey eye palette by Urban Decay), a nude lip (Studded Kiss Lipstick in Noble by Kat Von D is one of my favorites), a long pendant necklace and a pair of black booties and you will be the envy of every woman at the party!

Jack by BB Dakota Candra Rayon Chali Jumpsuit.  This is a great choice for a woman who is a trendsetter.  It is very sleek and a bit edgy.  It’s the perfect choice for a holiday outfit if you really don’t want to wear a dress to your event.  A strappy heel and gold accessories are a must with this look.  Don’t forget your red lipstick.  Try Audacious by MAC for a great pop of color!

We all want to be the best dressed woman at the party so don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone when getting dressed up for the holidays. Just remember if your dress has a lot going on (sequins, crystals, etc), keep your accessories simple.  Play up your makeup instead with a bold lip or a smokey eye.

Happy Holidays!
