Cute but, in my experience, defective

I first purchased a pair of these boots in my local store after inspiration from my coworker. They were so cute and reasonably priced. However, within hours of first wearing them, the left sole began squeaking with every step. The store kindly offered me a refund as there was not another pair in my size available for exchange. I had hoped what I had experienced was a one off occurrence and that I would have better luck with a different pair. With that hope in mind, I ordered a second pair from the Glik website and was terribly disappointed when that pair started making the same squeaking noise again the first day I wore them. It seems like the sole came apart between the heel piece and the rest of the shoe. I wish I could give a raving review because these boots are super cute and overall pretty comfortable. My coworker did not have the same experience so HOPEFULLY mine is an isolated incident. I would, on one hand, recommend these boots for how cute they are but would, on the other hand, caution that the good price possibly came at the cost of poor construction.

The booties were very hard to find. GLIK’S was the only store within 200 miles that had exactly what I was looking for. With the outstanding customer service especially the Highlands Store I was able to give that perfect gift. The booties are adorable. Thanks GLIK’S for making the holidays merrier.
