Brand Spotlight: SIlver Jeans Co.
Experimenting with denim styles is SO in right now, and we are here for it. However, it can be overwhelming when trying to decide which fit and wash work best for you. Today, we want to give a little insider about one of our favorite brands at Gliks; Silver Jeans Co. Although Silver Jeans Co. was established in 1991, they are an extension of a former company called Western Glove Works, which was founded by the Silver family in 1921. With almost a century under their belt, you could say that the Silver’s know a thing or two about denim jeans.
The reason we love Silver Jeans so much is because of their overall high quality and their variety of fit they offer in their jeans. (Guys, they offer men’s styles too! You can shop them here.) Since they create specific kinds of fit you will be sure to love, they even have named their denim jeans to fall into each category. By naming their styles, it makes shopping for jeans THAT much easier since you can shop for new styles with the same fit you already know and love. For example, some of the core styles we carry for women at Glik’s are: Suki, Avery, Elyse, Aiko, and Boyfriend.
SUKI : Curvy Fit | Mid Rise
Silver Jeans Co.’s go-to curvy fit, consciously designed to play up all your best assets with unique shape-enhancing details for the perfect hourglass silhouette.
AVERY : Curvy Fit | High Rise
Silver Jeans Co.’s perfect curvy-fit jean, designed with a slightly higher rise for extra coverage and the best shape enhancement.
ELYSE : Curvy Relaxed Fit | Mid Rise
Silver Jeans Co.’s more relaxed version of their signature curvy fit, engineered with an eased waistband for fuller waistlines that prevents gapping and a muffin top.
AIKO : Straight Fit | Mid Rise
Silver Jeans Co.’s classic straight fit you know and love with an oh-so-comfortable mid rise that contours to your natural shape.
BOYFRIEND : Relaxed Fit | Mid Rise
Silver Jeans Co.’s laid-back fit that is perfect for weekends, designed as a more comfortable, relaxed alternative to your favorite skinny jeans.
Now, if you’ve never tried on a pair of Silver Jeans before we highly recommend you do! It is not uncommon for customers to have two or three different sizes of Silver Jeans in their closet depending on the style, so don’t be afraid to experiment with looser and tighter fitting styles! Here is a Silver Jeans Co. size chart for reference or a starting point on which size you may need, but it can’t possibly replace actually trying them on 😉
