Okay, so winter may not be my favorite season, but there is always one thing that I love about cold days, and that’s the sweater options! There is something almost magical about getting a new sweater and the Main Strip Frayed Vneck Sweater is a sweater that I have been absolutely smitten with since the first time laid eyes on it. This frayed cropped sweater comes in mustard, grey, mauve, and ivory, which are all beautiful muted tones that go well with whatever shoes, pants, or jeans you can think to wear them with. Definitely one of my favorite things about this sweater is how many things I can wear it with and feel like am an actual vogue-fashionista-model. This sweater makes it easy to look cute and it is the kind of comfy feel-good sweater that you naturally gravitate to!
Another major plus about this sweater is that it can be transitioned into all the seasonal outfits you can think of. Right now I like to wear it with my black ripped Silver denim and throw on my Levi’s denim jacket for a little more edge (and maybe a CC Beanie for a little more warmth)! For a relaxed lazy weekend look, I love this sweater with my high waisted light washed denim and some fuzzy socks when I hang out at my friends’ homes. But as soon as the weather warms up, I cannot wait to style this sweater with a bralette, a faux suede taupe skirt, and ankle booties, for a look to wear at the office or a casual night out!
The Main Strip Frayed Vneck Sweater is the kind of quintessential piece for your wardrobe! No matter what the temperature may be outside this sweater will be there for any look. Now sweater weather can officially last forever (maybe without the cold weather part though). To shop these looks be sure to head to Gliks.com!

If you’ve ever muttered the phrase, “I have enough shoes,” you need to reevaluate your priorities…
I’m only kidding, of course. Let’s be friends and let’s talk spring shoes.
Warm weather may still feel a little out of reach, no thanks to Mr. Groundhog, but our footwear selection at Glik’s is locked and ready for the first inkling of spring.
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m beyond ready to give my toes some room to b-r-e-a-t-h-e with a new pair of peep toe shoes! From casual sandals for a day at the office to more dressy peep toe booties for a night out, I’ll be reaching for this style on repeat.
I’m also looking forward to sunshine-filled days when I can bust out comfy cute sandals. Available in two colorways, the Bork sandals will look great no matter your personal style. These strappy sandals will finish off preppy outfits, or pair perfectly with boho fashions.
Cut out booties are a major trend to watch this season. This small unexpected detail adds a ton of interest to a basic pair of ankle boots. You can easily style these shoes with a pair of cropped jeans, or opt for a spring dress for a look that’s a little more flirty and feminine.

Can we talk about lace up sweaters for a minute?
It’s no secret; sweaters are a wardrobe staple and will never go out of style. Personally, there’s nothing I love better than a basic, chunky knit sweater. Well, that was the case until lace up sweaters started popping up all over my Instagram feed.
The lace up trend elevates a basic sweater into something much more stylish and coveted. Just add a cute pair of ankle boots and simple accessories, and voila! Instant #fashionblogger style status with minimal effort. This alone is reason enough for me to get behind a trend.
This updated style gives a different vibe than a traditional chunky kit. You can easily wear a lace up top off the shoulder for a look that’s a little sexy, or you can wear it as is for an every day look. One sweater that can be styled two different ways? All the more reason to love a good lace up top!
Because lace up sweaters are a little more open, you’ll be able to take them from fall to winter to spring with ease. Major bonus points for versatility.
I’m also really loving sweaters that lace up the back. This detail adds an unexpected twist that takes a piece from basic to B-A-M!
Leave a comment and let me know what you guys think of the lace up trend!
The terms “lace up” or “criss cross” may cause you to immediately think of lingerie or a risqué Halloween costume, but a strappy neckline doesn’t have to be intimidating (or a look reserved for night time). This trend is something you can work into your every day wardrobe. In some cases, it’s even suitable for work.
A criss cross neckline add a subtle, slightly rebellious, detail that elevates even the most basic pieces. One of our favorite criss cross tees is available here in multiple colorways and sleeve lengths.
You’ll want to add a few (or three or four) to your wardrobe ASAP.
A criss cross bralette can be paired with a v-neck or lower scoop neck top so the strappy piece peeks out at the neck and amps up the overall look.
Criss cross bralettes also work well with off the shoulder shirts. Not only do they add a little extra coverage if you don’t want to completely bare your shoulder, but it also adds an element of edge to your outfit.
Another way to rock a detailed neckline is a lace up or criss cross dress. A dress with a trendy neckline eliminates the need for a necklace, but can be paired with a choker necklace for extra style points.

These bottoms fit like leggings, but give the illusion of real pants. Yes, please.
Both comfortable and on-trend, moto leggings pass the leggings-as-pants test because of one thing: the details. There are ribbed panels above each knee and zippers at the ankles, giving these pants an edgy but still very wearable look.
Moto pants will elevate any outfit, no matter how casual. Keep scrolling to see how we’re wearing moto-inspired leggings this season.
Moto Pants + Z Supply
We paired our olive green moto pants with a faux suede Z Supply tee and black ankle boots. Hitting right about the ankle, these pants are the perfect length to wear with short boots.
Moto Leggings + Freeloader
This is the outfit you’ll never want to take off (and I don’t blame you). This Freeloader clothing cardigan is made with a tiger brush fabric that is cozier than cozy. We had to throw another Z Supply tee underneath because they are just that comfy.
Moto Leggings + Camo Jacket
Rock two trends in one outfit with a cool camouflage jacket and black moto leggings.

Fray is the New Fringe
The past few seasons the fringe trend has been a huge hit! Adding a twist to the fringe world, they have added fringe denim, which is known as released hem, raw hem, or even frayed jeans. The frayed hem doesn’t stop at the jeans. We are seeing frayed shorts, skirts and tops too. The released hem trend isn’t just made on a skinny jean either, but also on a flared denim. One of our favorite brands, Flying Monkey, came out with a cropped skinny jean that features a raw hem and are a must have staple piece for this season!
Rules of the Frayed Jeans:
- The frayed hem should hit right at or above the ankle.
- Wear your raw hem jeans with pointy pumps, strappy sandals, ballet flats, casual sneakers, or ankle boots.
- Only wear one or two raw hem peices at a time, too much fraying could be an overkill.
We paired our released hem Flying Monkey Jeans with an Elan Fringe Sweater giving this outfit the double fray look. Keeping up with all of the trends this season, we layered our sweater over a Criss-Cross Neck Tee. And topping off our look, we paired our raw hem jeans with our Volatile Haisley Western Ankle Bootie to show off that frayed hem.
Another season, another chance to vamp up your wardrobe!
With the official beginning of fall coming in a few short weeks, it’s time to find pieces you’ll want to wear all season long. Thankfully, bringing new life to your closet doesn’t mean you have to break the bank. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite must-have pieces that are all under $50. Feel free to do a little happy dance.
It’s time to bust out the booties! There are two major factors to consider when buying a new pair of ankle boots: color and comfort. Taupe, black, and brown are three colors that you’ll get a ton of wear out of this season and next.
As the temperatures drop, you’ll need a good pair of jeans in your rotation. KanCan Jeans are not only affordable, but they also fit like a dream! At only $39 for most styles, consider adding a pair of mid-rise and low-rise skinnies to your denim collection.
Nothing says fall fashion like a Piko top! There are so many colors and styles to choose from at Glik’s, but this burgundy tunic is one of my favorites for autumn.
Is it really even fall if you’re not wearing a vest? My all time favorite quilted vests are from Thread and Supply. The quality of these vests is amazing for the price point and the selection of colors makes it impossible to choose just one!
It’s not all about bundling up this season, especially at the start. I love this olive green dress from Blu Pepper. The lace up neckline is perfectly on-trend, plus it’s a style steal at only $39.
Lastly, accessories are just as important as your outfit itself. My favorites for fall include CC Beanies, a cute plaid scarf, a lace bralette, and a black choker necklace. Any of of theses pieces will instantly elevate your #ootd.
You’re probably thinking, “What in the world is a catsuit?”
If a bodycon dress and a jumper had a baby, it would be the catsuit.
The catsuit is an elevated basic with an extremely fitted silhouette. This one-piece jumpsuit has a sleeveless design that allows for endless styling opportunities, no matter the season.
Regardless of how you style this one-piece body suit, confidence is key. Find layering pieces and accessories that work for you and you’ll look nothing short of fierce in this hot trend!
Here’s how we’re wearing our cat suits:
Pair a black catsuit with a quilted bomber jacket, caged ankle booties, and a black velvet choker necklace for an athleisure inspired look. Complete your outfit with gold rings and matte red lipstick.
You can also rock a 90’s inspired girly-grunge look with a grey jumpsuit. Try tying a buffalo plaid shirt around your waist, throwing your hair in a messy topknot, and sliding on your go-to black Converse. Finish this look with an all black baseball hat and simple stud earrings.
