UNDER ARMOUR CLOTHING: Nearly 20 years ago in 1995, the founding premise of Under Armour was established when founder Kevin Plank desired to create a t-shirt that would wick away moisture instead of absorb it during intense athletic activity. Only after he graduated college and started Under Armour (running it for a time from his grandmother's basement) were HeatGear®, ColdGear®, and AllSeasonGear® born. Fast forward to 2014, and Under Armour Performance Gear has become a staple to athletes in almost all sporting arenas all over the world.
In more recent years, Under Armour has released a fitness and exercise clothing line that celebrates women fighting against breast cancer. 10% of the proceeds from the She's A Fighter Under Armour Power in Pink Collection are donated to breast cancer charities.
Under Armour's most recent campaign Transform Yourself includes the release of Alter Ego Superhero T-shirts (available at Gliks.com for Men and Boys.) Their Alter Ego core loosefitting tech t-shirts are available with Batman, Superman, Captain America, and Iron Man logos. Whether you wear an Alter Ego tee or other Under Armour Clothing, your performance gear will be working as hard as you to PROTECT THIS HOUSE®.
