What to Bring to the Arm Party:

  • Metal Chain (found at Michael’s for $3.99)
  • Multi-Colored Ponytail Holders without Metal
  • Needle Nose Pliers
  • Additional Arm Candy/Bracelets to add to your DIY Bracelet

Step 1:

Measure your wrist and subtract the length of the ponytail holder you are using. This will be the length of chain that you will need. We used a 4-inch length chain for a 6.5-inch wrist, because our ponytail holder was 2.5-inches long.

Step 2:

Measure out the chain and use the pliers to open the links at each end.

Step 3:

Once each end is open, loop the ponytail holder through the link and pinch it back closed.

Step 4:

Repeat this process on the other side, creating a circular bracelet.

(TIP: Make sure the chain links are not twisted and lay flat before closing the link)

Step 5:

Slip the bracelet on and adjust as desired.

Don’t be afraid to add more bracelets to your Arm Party! Alex and Ani, Bourbon and Boweties, and Lily and Laura bracelets mixed well with our DIY bracelets and brought extra style and positive energy to our arm party!
