Holland
The next stop on our road trip up the Michigan shoreline is Holland. Holland, Michigan has a great European atmosphere that you can experience without leaving the United States. You can explore the Dutch villages and view the 6 million tulips that have been planted for the annual Tulip Time Festival. Grand Haven
As you can see from the pictures above, Grand Haven, Michigan is definitely a fun-filled and beautiful place. As the next stop in our road trip, you must hit up the soft sand beaches and clear fresh water. Also, if you love boating and fishing you can explore the open waters of Lake Michigan. The Grand Haven area offers a great variety of scenic cruises and charters to choose from.
Manistee
Manistee, Michigan cannot be missed on our Glik’s summer road trip. If you are into arts and culture, you will love the Vogue Theatre in downtown Manistee. The Vogue Theatre adds much vibrancy and life to downtown Manistee. So even when you are out of town and travelling, you won’t miss that summer must-see movie!
Frankfort
Frankfort, Michigan is of no exception to the beauty that Michigan has to offer. In fact, one of Michigan’s most photographed structures is located in Frankfort. The Point Betsie Lighthouse offers picturesque views and a rich history of the town.
